About me
I am an artist from Bulgaria, Europe, where I live and create original art in such styles as surrealism,realism, imp-art, fantasy and abstract painting, and much working in the genre of cityscape and landscape painting. Studied classical painting and art history at the Academy of Arts in Moscow City, Russia. Currently member of the Russian Artists' Association and of the Bulgarian Artists' Association. 14 solo exhibitions. Participated in 25 international exhibitions and art competitions in 5 countries.
My artistic experiments lead to the creation of unusual fantasy pieces represented not only on canvases, but also on wooden bases using mixed techniques and the most innovative textured materials.
My first author's collection of original paintings is dedicated to surrealistic art, related to the feeling of time and how man apprehends it, with the pulse of the City and atmosphere of life in the motion. The pictures' plots are based on female images that conveys the subject of painting in the most emotional way.
The second big author's collection is fulfilled in the fantasy style and corresponds with the Middle Age era. This is unique collection of original wood art pieces with funny surreal subjects, which are handmade on natural wood! Each piece is unique and amazing wood artwork for walls decor. Original wood frames purposely hand carved for each wood painting art piece. Carved wood wall decor combine life and warmth of natural material. This decorative wood pieces looks very unusual and awesome!
When creating the paintings' subjects, I use complicated composing techniques, applying acrylic paint, golden paste, craquelure and patina polish. The subjects of these pictures are symbolical and contain signs and elements of amulets.
I find my inspiration in the works of famous artists such as Maurits Escher, Hundertwasser, Salvador Dali, Albrecht Dürer and others.
